don't do Intuit, they have hidden fee's. I signed up with square before they went live and while waiting for them to change their legal structure i went with go payments. They charge a % of the type of card it is ( ie: rewards, business etc ) and they will beat you to death with fees. Square, never a single problem. not once in 2.5 years. Next day deposits, and fri - sunday, will be dp on Tuesday. lowest in the game for what it is. don't waste your time with anything else.

Thanks for the input chefbuba. I did look around on the search, and have found answers to most of my questions in general, but I just didn't have much luck. Must have used the wrong search terms. Glad to know they keep to their statements about when funds post to your bank account.

I have been using Square for two years, Charges made M-Th are deposited next day, Fri-Sun deposit on the next business day. Never had a problem with them.
This topic has been discussed to death here.....do a bit of searching.
All depend on your bank too, YMMV.......my bank deposits at midnight every day.

I am also looking into accepting credit for my business (when it is up and running next spring) as everyone does not carry cash. I know I don't for the most part!

No apologies necessary Santacruz. I would like to know all of this as well. As I understand from reading earlier though the square system processes payments by the next business day. I wonder if that's true.

And thanks for turning me on to Square guys, I never knew there was an android square as well!

I was thinking about going with Intuit QuickPay and still not decided too.
for the 2 that have square have you guys had any issues with payments to your bank?
how often do they pay you? every time someone charges or monthly?

I accept credit/debit cards through Square on my smart phone. For me it works great and I'm in a bad cell phone place with no wi-fi. I've found that it works best if all apps are closed, they charge a flat 2.75%

Hello folks,
I was wondering how many of you who have food trucks and vending carts accept credit or debit. If you do, what system are you using? Is it worth the bank fees?

I don't have a business going just yet, but I'd like to get some serious research done. So thank you for your responses!
