Well after completeing the truck and my wife being unemployed for 16 month, she got a good job. I stuck it up on Craigslist and sold it. I've got some local truck owners who have seen it now wanting me to build their next trucks. We'll see how many of them come up with a deposit to get them started and back to working nights and weekends to make some extra cash. The great thing to come out of this is I will pay off my house with the proceeds from the truck, 8 years early...

I've been debating what to seal my concession window with. One of the engineers at my work recommended putting Butyl tape around the opening on the truck then install the window.

Thanks whats the cfm those will move I calculated my total BTUs and with what Im going to put in the truck Im at 279000 so by what Im reading on the net I would need 2800 CFM worth of fans , are they going to turn on together or do you have them on two switches

I got them from a local A/C supply company. Mine are Fantech 10" fans. Google that, they are about $100.00 each.
I built the trim on the outside to keep the air from trying to open them going down the road and hopefully keep the rain out..

they charged $535.00 I think its 16 gauge. I copied it from 1 I found on the web.. If I had it to do over I would would order it complete less the roof fan.

This about your vent hood. How much did the sheet metal shop charge you for fabrication, does it meet the codes, and what guage stainless is it.

3'x6' window.. $1120.00 to the door... door was $9 some thing hundred..$150.00 shipping , $40.00 crating..
took 6 weeks to get with the Chrtistmas 2 week shut down...
Today, I fixed the water leak myself, ended up a problem with the fitting that hold the faucet in and I had another set of a different brand so Plumings done now..
Everything is done excent cleaning it good for the tuesday inspection and an overflow tube I forgot on the water tank..
Today I built the generator mount, just have to put so hooks on it to strap generator down with..Installed a quick disconnect plug on the back of the truck
Added a couple shelves inside and then trimmed out the exhaust fans and put built a cover to help keep water out..

You do fast and great looking work. I like the cover for the fryer. Good job.
What are the dimensions on your window it looks like it might be an 8 footer,
and ball park what you spent with Challenger without shipping and what
the shipping ran if I'm not being to nosy.

The door from Challenger was simple to install, 10 minutes from test fit to completed install.
Also above is the cover I made for the fryer when its not in use..

Got the equipment installed except the refrigerator that the door opens the wrong way.. New one should be here next week withe a lfet hand side swing frig.
all the gas lines checked with no leaks. Changed all the orfices on the flattop and burner for lp..
Installed the service window and trimmed out,.
Interior of truck is complete except for the water leak which the plumber didnt make it yesterday or today to fix it..

Well the window showed up today and will install it saturday morning.
plumber finished the pluming to tank today but I found some leaks at the faucet so he's got to come back friday..

Finally got in touch with Challenger Door yesterday and my door was complete and shipping yesterday.
Should have it by the weekend and I can get it installed and finish up the truck...

Well the Service window from Challenger Door has not arrived and I cannot find out when I will get it. I've called and left messages, emailed, called talked to the recptionist and asked if she could get me a del. date so I've had to cancel my HD appointment I had for this week..

Got a Full day of work done today,
Got the electrical completed.
grey water tank installed and plumbed
water tank installed- Plumber coming tuesday to complete pluming line from/to tank
completed the trim on interior and caulked edges.
installed propane regulator and plumbed the equipment except fryer
installed drying rack over sink

Reese77--There are 3- 29" long 2" square tubing attached to the roof of the truck into the joist and then I attached the hood to the tubing, also screwed to the back wall many times and the time is .063 Alum which is riveted to the hood and then screed through the ceiling. Very sturdy and no movement whatsoever..

Nice job and good move trimming out the space between the ceiling and hood top. Often builders have left that area open not thinking about how much gunk collects up there with no way to clean it.
