As much attention as the K! pizza cone and others got back then...K! closed shop in NYC and other companies moved more to the partnership with Convenience Store sector...which reduces the oversll appeal and $ you can expect for pizza cones.

On the Boardwalk they are 2/$5.

There's a trick to the right dough...so everything stays together from start to finish. Otherwise...clean-up in the Midway.

Most experiments (sans the entire system) begin with Chicago-style pizza dough. I believe it was Giordano's...with some tweaks to the formula.

Pizza cone places opened in NYC a few years ago. I know one of the first to open is closed.

The equipment cost when the cones first got press was $2000-$2500.

Man, look at all that stainless steel! And all the equipment........lord mercy, and from South Africa at that.
Some time awhile back, I barely looked into this idea. I was thinking surely you could purchase ready made cones of some sort, or even use a rolled-up tortilla and call it a Mexican Pizza. looks like a good idea, but I just don`t have the time or equipment to mess with. BTW, go to www.amazon.com search "pizza cone" they have a home style version for around $22.00 to get your feet wet. Plz read the feedback first.
