Get you a gen.I vend fairs 6 months out of the year and good luck getting 30 amps let alone 50!Oh sure You'll pay for 50 amp but you'll show up and the have two 15 amp plug ins!

Ice cream not my product, but I will say down here in the badlands of New Mexico most electrical set-ups provided by the promoter consists of 15 amp, 120 volt. Lucky if you get 2 outlets. Good luck in our new venture.

Hello all. I have been reading your forums here for some time and have finally joined. I am an ice cream shop owner and I am designing a trailer to take my show on the road as well. Just looking to hit the summer festivals and streetfests here in Cincinnati. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with dip wells on a concession trailer? What is the best way to set up? Any insight into this would be of great help. Also based on my plans I should be putting a 50 amp service in my trailer but was trying to figure out what is usually available at these types of events. I can go with a 30 amp if absolutely necessary but would rather not. Also twist lock or four prong plugs? Your feedback is very much appreciated.
