The room had a full fridge, snacks and some Valentine gifts so back down to the front desk, next room actually had people, good thing they weren't up to anything as I walked in. Third room was good. Starting to sound like the 3 bears story.
Re:Opry (mar52)

 Safe driving!
Re:Opry (Ice Cream Man)

Went to the Opry again last night, they never disappoint. I didn't realize how clean the place was until I went into the washrooms, everything was polished to a shine. Lots of good food in Cocoa.
Re:Opry (Texascajun)

Sorry! I just got back home. Yes it does seem to rain a lot this time of year around Corpus Christie (its about 8 hours south, southwest of me) but that can be hit or miss also, sometimes it can be dry--Texas weather. There are good things to do there. We have been to the beach, the battleship, botanical gardens and conservation area. They are all nice and there are many things to do within driving distance. Lots of GREAT BBQ places within driving distance. If you like birdwatching I have a friend that goes a few times a year.
Re:Opry (Ice Cream Man)

CajunKing

Poverty Pete

This is your thread, ICM. CC hasn't even made a comment here. Had a heck of a day at work today. I would have loved to be back at Cocoa Beach. My wife wants to move there and work at the hospital but not the rght time for me. We kayaked in the thousand islands conservation area with the manatees and wild dolphins in August. That was fun. Which place did you dine on the Pier if you dont mind me asking? We ate at the Atlantic Ocean Grill which we enjoyed. Sorry about rambling on I just really miss the ocean. We will be back this summer when kiddos are out of school.
Re:Opry (Ice Cream Man)

Walked 5 miles along the beach ate on the pier.
80 degrees no snow just a nice breeze.
Re:Opry (Ice Cream Man)

Thank you I've never tried Cuban I'll check it out, going to check out the beach tomorrow supposed to be 80, then the Cape on Saturday, supposed to cool off to 75.
Re:Opry (Texascajun)

The wife, kids and myself ate at a Cuban Cafe La Tinaja in Cocoa Beach.
