If the food is consistantly good tasting and they get excellent service it won't even matter how much you charge - they will come back.

Good Food, Reasonable Prices, Friendly Service-----------------Works every time!!!

It's absolutely amazing how many owners don't get this simple concept.
They think their food is great but no one eats it. They think loud wait staff are just being friendly. Or wait staff that call my wife a guy (as in how are you guys doing) or the ones that call me Hun, or Sweetie.
They think the right price is less than anyone else within 20 miles. Then can't figure out why they can't pay the rent.

Great Food and even better service. I think price is less important than most people think. But give them a taste that they will remember and they will come back and "Tell their Friends".

I can tell you why I go back.
The price doesn't make my knees buckle.
The food is at least above average.
They treat me like I'm the most important guest they have.
Or I'm hungry and it's the only choice I have.

Without giving away your "trade secrets", I'm interested in hearing from the trenches what are some methods you use to increase repeat customer business to your restaurant.
No, I do not own a restaurant currently...I am just doing some research.
