Little Rock to Austin Roadtrip (mcguirejohnr)

I am headed back into Central Texas for some BBQ and will be driving West on I40 from around Fort Smith, AR then South on 69 Highway through Dallas. I pretty much have my Dallas and Central Texas stops picked out but could use a stop along the route before Dallas if anyone has a suggestion.
