Yes I have heard of them. They are a glatt kosher meat company. Their products are fair in my mind. A better choice for kosher dogs would be Abeles and Heymanns out of NYC.

i see on the package that they are glatt kosher. sorry, but WHAT IS THAT?
we ate them last night, they were mild flavoured nothing to" write home about". but fine.
regarding ables and heymanns, we don't get(or i can't find) too much east coast product out here, in oregon. most kosher sausage or even the portugese sausage, linguica, which is sooo common where i grew up, & stuff of the like seems to come from the LA area here.

The Glatt refers to the fact that the lungs of the animal were in good condition. Glatt, itself, means smooth. The use of the word in this case refers to a finding that there were no adhesions or anomolies found in the lungs of the animal at the time of slaughter.

Michael Hoffman .......I'm so Glatt you cleared that mystery up. Thanks.
You know .....just a few days ago as I was driving out in the country and I came across a herd of Angus cattle grazing. Sure enough I spied 3 bulls and a cow smoking cheap cigars, just puffing away and chewing there cud. Damn, I sure am Glatt the old Rabbi checks those bovines over real good......... wouldn't want to find no adhesions or anomalies in my bologna.
