salsa vs gazpacho

Just wondering if any one of you eat chilled salsa for gazpacho soup?  Costco's all organic brand salsa is delicious with a dollop of sour cream.

    No I just spooned it into a bowl with a little sour cream.  It was really chunky and fresh tasting.

    I can honestly say it would never have occurred to me to eat salsa like it was soup. Nor would it have occurred to me to call it gazpacho if I had done so.

    I wouldn't eat the salsa I make as gazpacho, would work as a base though. I'd want to add more vegetables to it, especially cucumber. And I don't put vinegar or worcestershire in my salsa, which does go in gazpacho recipes I've tried.

    That would be so spicy!
    Have you checked the sodium content to be sure it is healthy to eat in such large portions?
