Greymo 1 penny times 500 customers = $5.00 per day. *smacks head* oh, chrissake! forgot the decimal point. and that flowed through the rest. still, that would be over $1800.00 per year - at 500 per day. still a chunk.

My mother wanted KFC yesterday and I could't say "no". I got the "Famous Bowl" (which should be called "Infamous Bowl") and what a rip-off for the money. It had a few skimpy pieces of chicken, very little corn, no cheese that I could detect, and was mostly their fake mashed potatoes. I should have just had a soda and talked to her while she ate. KFC is to be thanked for the fact that I almost never order mashed potatoes when eating out (what I may do is try somebody else's mashed potatoes, and, if they are real, reconsider for that particular restaurant). They do have the bowl with rice instead of potatoes. Otherwise, I'm in agreement with you; if you have a couple of extra bucks to throw away, go ahead and try it for the novelty, otherwise it just isn't worth it. Bart

Greymo I think sk bob should hire a lawyer. This is serious business. 1 penny times 500 customers = $5.00 per day. So are you saying that (if this is intentional on KFC's part) this is an acceptable business practice, on the basis that you are only taking a small amount of money from an individual? Is it then OK that every business that you transact with does the same thing? If it's OK for one franchise to do it, I guess it's acceptable for all of them: 1 penny times 500 customers = $5.00 per day x 14,000 franchises= $70,000 per day. Multiply by 365 days in a year? $2,555,000
