We'd just left our stay at the Tennessee Fitness Spa when we say the tidy yellow building: Creecy's Country Cooking and Smoking.Randall and Doris Creecy own it. Doris does the cooking. Randall does the smoking. The BarBQue sandwich is huge bun filled with smoky pulled pork. You add sauce from Doris's hot or sweet varieties on the table. I needed more hearty sustenence after my spa experience so I ordered a rack of baby back ribs. Dry, pull off the bone with your fork; the gristle fall-apart-tender. Perfect. But the surprise treat was Creecy's Chips. The turned out to be home-made potato chips, my favorite food in the world. Among the many sides were green beans which Doris cooks for a "long, long time". Probably with a secret ingredient -- they were great. So is her praline pie!
