I got one too. Just for one second, I thought about replying from my E-mail addy in Japan. Oh well. I just deleted same.

He seems to be legit, but if anyone has information to the contrary, please let us know.

He may very well be legit, but a "google" of his e-mail address shows in other posts at other sites, someone using the exact same e-mail address claimed to be Mike a restaurant owner, not Brandon the college student. I'd suggest if Brandon/Mike has some genuine questions he would be better off posting them instead of e-mailing folks.

Agreed. He and I have exchanged a couple of emails tonight, and again, he seems sincere. As an administrator, you need to take action if you think he's abusing the site.

All good cons start off sounding legit. He used the site to gain access to members. Show me one post by this person. His entire intent for joining was to gain access to the membership.

I say boot him. Of course, that and $1.19 will get me a small triple latte.

I also got one from him.
I told him I didnt own a biz, and he replied and said sorry to bother.
But the gist of it did raise the red flag though.

I received one this morning.

Boot him. I got one this morning too, and I've hardly portrayed myself as a small-business owner. I really resent getting this.

Tony evicted the guy today. Please notify a moderator if you receive any additional email using the website email service. If he now has your 'direct' email I suggest that you include his address in whatever 'blocking' service you have.

I did get an e-mail from him and I'm certainly not a small business owner.

I got one saying Roosy referred lleechef who referred Wanderingjew who referred him to me.

I got one saying he ws referred by Bushie and he quoted Bushie by his name. How the hell did he know that?

I deleted his email.

I received the same e-mail with a Bushie referral. I suggested Hot Dog University.

FYI- On the Today show 3/20 Chris Hanson is doing a segment on e-mail scammers. If you missed it you may be able to access it on their web site.

Boy, we all seem to be guilty of something here by proxy..
It is actually gotten to be quite comical almost if it didnt seem to be such a serious matter.
I wonder just what the hell he/she/it wants anyway?... Just scamming for emails for spam?
