Sometimes the remembrance of a really extraordinary meal stays with you a long time.As a youngster 45 years ago we went on a family vacation to Yosemite NP and ended up for dinner at the Sugar Pine Ranch. They had the best country fried, biscuits, and desert. Are they still around and still serving their famous chicken dinners? Thanks for any information anyone might pass along.

I read "country fried" and "chicken," which piqued my interest, so I Googled that. Perhaps you mean: http://www.hikercentral.com/campgrounds/102449.html which isn't very good info. Now I want to know too! Did you spend the night there? Take a look at search engines and let us know which one you think it is. I want to go to Yosemite soon, so, does anyone have better info? Thanks!

Michealgemmel, I found the same web site and it doesn't mention anything about serving lunch or dinner. Although we didn't stay there, the meal left a lasting memory (the lost chord). the phone # at the ranch is 209-962-7823. I haven't called yet because we don't have any immediate plans to visit Yosemite. Thanks for the response.
