Well like most things there are good and bad sugar-free candies. The good ones are just as good as their full sucrose brothers. You have to be carefull as some have a laxative effect. Some of the bagged Russell Stover brand carried in Walgreens are fantastic but there is one with chopped nuts that tastes like seconds because the nuts are chopped so small.

I am diabetic, and am now an expert in this arena. Watch the binging on Maltitol and Sorbitol. And they still have carbs... Top sugarfree candies: 1. Jelly bellies 2. Kit Kats 3. Endulge caramel bars (grocery store or drug store diet aisle) 4. English toffee/brickle (from chocolate shops...high butter content) 5. Gummy bears (from ins..slightly different texture than regular) Disappointing: 1: Godiva (surprising) 2. Reese's peanut butter cups 3. Hersheys chocolate bar (no taste at all) 4. Licorice (from bins at Candy Station)
