Mics - I used to buy bockwurst at Whole Foods and Safeway in Bellevue, WA. I grilled or pan fried and krauted it. Side of fried potatos.

Moin Wurst Lovers! Are you talking about the typical bavarian so called Weisswurst...? Weisswurst: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weisswurst There are two kinds of the trad. Weisswurst kown here in Germany, the bavarian WW, and the silesian WW. I like them very much, a trad. Christmas-Meal here in Germany, served with bavarian sweet mustard, but they must be fresh from the butchery, absolutely, not from the can or freezed... Kind regards Michael

Weisswurst is never served with Sauerkraut, just plain, with bread, or a pretzel, and sweet bavarian mustard. Another german speciality, you are perhaps talking about is the so called Nürnberger Rostbratwurst, this small Bratwurst is severd trad. together with Sauerkraut, a trad. dish from the city of Nuremberg... German Wurst, Heaven on Earth! Kind regards Michael
