Update

Just wanted to update everyone on my status as of late. I finally moved away from Wickenburg to Surprise, Az. Quit the hotel I was working for and up and moved with my girlfriend. Didn't have a job at the time but she did. Turned out to be a pretty good move. I had several offers from chain restaurants but didn't want to go there. I finally walked into a sports bar for a beer after pounding pavement for eight hours. I decided to fill out an application but didn't expect too much since they weren't hiring at the time. Well, after I accepted a job with Carraba's they called me back for an interview. I was going to work both jobs but the hours would have been grueling. I decided to go with the sports bar. The name of the place is Booty's Wings, Burgers, and Beer. Located in sunny Surprise, Az. I started in November as a line cook and have since moved into the Kitcken Manager position. I missed working the business but was happy for the three year hiatus. I appreciate my job again. I will try to post recipes and other stuff as time permits but I am very suddenly a busy man. Have a great night all!!!

I know you had a couple rough years there for a while so I'm happy for you and glad things are working out for you. I have a good friend in Goodyear and we get together every once in a while so we'll try to make your place a get together spot! It's great that you have 3 of the Mandatory Food Groups covered!
For any of Youze that are coming out for Spring Training, several of the ball parks are near Booty's. Stop in & say hello to Boyardee65!

As far as I know, they are mostly finished with the 303. Some shoulder work is all I saw last time through. J

I love the fact that I can ride my bike to see the spring training games there. About a mile or so from my place.

Just an update to all out there who care... I have since moved from Surprise to Chino Valley... We have 10 acres of land, about 3 which are farmable. So far , I have planted thyme, basil, tomatoes, peppers; hot and sweet, onions, and lavender. Waiting another few weeks to plant cucumbers, corn, green beans, strawberries, and a few other veggies. Hoping to get enough product to sell at the farmers market. We also have started raising rabbits for food as well as several laying hens. Also picking up a hog this spring for slaughter in the fall. All in all, things are looking up. Have a few lines in the water for managing positions in the area. Hope everyone is doing well and hope to hear from all of my favorite posters soon!! Have a great day!!!

Hey Chef, happy to hear your doing well. Nothing like growing your own veggies. We have pigs on pasture and in dry pens. They eat everything from the garden. The Chickens love the fresh spinach and lettuce. We have 15 piglets ready to see in about 2 weeks..........The best.....pnwc
