hey would anyone recall a fast food chain called something like "Charlie Chan's" in the Lycoming Mall (in Muncy, PA)? i remember they were around when I was a kid somewhere in the late 70s to early 80s. they had the BEST fried chicken tenders (on a stick, i believe), with a nice, spiced coating. does this ring a bell for anyone?

I vaguely remember it., if it's the place I'm thinking it was. I'd visit my dad near Williamsport, and he'd take us to the Lycoming Mall for movies. I think we ate there once, don't remember the food though. This was early 80's. It definitely wasn't there a couple years ago last time I went.

There was an fast-food Chinese place in a local shopping mall here in Overland Park, KS (Metcalf South) in the 1980's called Charlie Chan's but I was always under the impression they were strictly a one-location mom-n-pop place. They later changed their name to Chan-Chan's and my sister worked for them for a couple years. I think they went out of business (as most places have in that place) by the early 1990's.
