what brand taffy was that?

Back when I was a kid.. we did school fundraisers and sold candy. One year we sold this saltwater taffy. It had a plastic package like a kitkat. It was about the same size as a kitkat also. Inside were bars of saltwater taffy wrapped in wax paper. The best flavor was cherry. Does anyone remember the name/brand of that saltwater taffy? No that's not it. It didn't have a stick.
It looked exactly like a Kit Kat, except it was red, pink, yellow for the flavors.

Nope. Packaging on the turkish taffy is different too. The stuff I remember was a solid color. And the name doesn't sound familiar either.

just for the record it was definitely not alberts wacky taffy but alberts wacky taffy was fairly decent... just not what we have all been craving :(

It was called Katy's Saltwater Taffy. Nestle made it... they don't anymore :(
