Westfair Fish & Chips in Westport

I just want to give a nod of approval to what is written about this place. I will take anybody who loves fish to this place whenever they visit me. When family members come from California to visit, it is a must do. Mom loves belly clams..... There are many seafood shacks reviewed here that can be found along RT #1 and Westfair always rates highly with me. The soups are excellent, both the chowders and the bisques are worth trying. I cannot vouch for the fries, but the onion rings are house made, thick and delicious rings. mark

Let me second the rave review of doggydaddy. Right now, I can't remember having a better lobster roll or whole belly clams than I enjoyed today at Westfair. I counted 20 clams in my small side order($13.95). All the clams were perfect little purses without any grit. You can tell they were prepared with tender care. The lobster roll($16.95)easily had over one pound of succelent meat. The fries weren't worth eating. I wish I saw the above review before ordering and got the onion rings. The only thing missing from this meal was a couple Ying-A-Lings!
