Wow, I can't believe how long this thread has gotten. Just goes to show you how popular gardening is becoming. With food prices on the rise, it's  no wonder. The only things left in my garden are basil, parsley, and cayenne peppers. All doing well in spite of the heat.

It's time I request pics from home...to see the progress of the garden.

The tomatoes should be ready. Not for me this year...but ready.

Winter left late in ND, followed by nonstop rain.  Ground didn't dry up and warm up enough to plant until very late May, nearly June.  I currently have scarlet runner beans, Lima beans, yellow beans, sweet peas, sugar snap peas, snow peas, soybeans, kalrabi, carrots, beets, yellow onions, red onions, pumpkins, buttercup squash, pickling cucumbers, and 4 varities of tomato, 4 varities of chilie, along with a seperate herb garden.

And those &^%$ deer have been feeding well.

I got two yellow bells and one red within the last couple of days and that will just about do it here in SE Fl. Was very surprised to see a bright red cardinal feasting on one of my last of the season pitiful tomatoes the other day. Hope he enjoyed!
