Hey Joe, are these really grown in Pittston or imported from Jersey? I have always heard they had the bestest, A#1, First Class Tomatoes in Jersey. Of course that does not include the 1st Class "Tomatoes" we had strutting around the neighborhood in Brooklyn. Amen !!!

Jerseyites wouldn't know a good tomato if you threw it at them They grow theirs in sand, we grow ours in mine rock, coal ash and culm. Now that's flavor! Now those Brooklyn Tomatoes, that's a whole different story. MiamiDon, No way would I enter the tomato fights. Too many people would be gunning for me

Ohio and Pittston always has outstanding produce but Grainger County tomatoes has always prided itself for world famous tomatoes. I have attended their festival many times and it is a huge event. I took Mamaw Smith to Rutledge this past week and we bought a beautiful bushel of huge tomatoes for $10.00 and they were blemish free, acid and juicy. http://www.graingercountytomatofestival.com/ Paul E. The tomatoes are rotten. They are whats left over in the fields. The money raised from the fight goes to a local food pantry.
