Thank you LTB!!

These Pakoda spiced onion rings look DREAMY!

I have had great luck in finding some gems in the packaged foods dept. Some delicious items with ingredient lists that are very free of any junk.

I'd like to make my own so it will be nice to be able to put a master shopping list together for a variety of dishes instead of just grabbing random ingredients.

I love Chicken Marsala.  It's one of my make at home dishes even though I sometimes order it out.

Believe it or not MH has never had roasted chicken!!  So I'm going to roast a chicken with crispy skin, garlic mashed and haricots verts.

Why would Michael eat Chicken, he grew up with a Lobster roll in one hand and a Basket of Fried Clams in the other.............

This is true.  Helluva lot better than chicken!!!  He'll have to suffer through broiled cod tonight.

That looks delicious! I love Indian food!

I was craving ice cream the other day but the weather was bad. I had a package of Kulfi mix that I picked-up at the Indian cash & carry. I had low expectations...but had to give it a try. I had lower expectations when I tasted it (saffron - almond - pistachio) before it went in the freezer! It was delicious! I will try to make it from scratch...now that I enjoyed it.

I'd love to see the blog...if you'd like to share it!

CC--I'm so sorry I lost track of your post!!  I must make kulfi.  My Indian friend says it's very easy to make.

                  I had a PBJ&MW sandwich.

I goofed while also making a bologna sandwich.

Can you imagine my chagrin when I realized I had just applied a layer of Knott's seedless boysenberry jam to the already prepared bologna sandwich?

The bologna got a new top and I ate the strange sandwich.

I used to put grape jelly on pork roll (on purpose).

I think Boysenberry and Bologna sounds better than Peanut Butter & Jelly and Miracle Whip.

We had leftover quiche with cottage cheese and redskin potato salad from the deli.

Mar, I'm not sure I'd have been able to eat a PB&J with Miracle Whip. I might've had to sacrifice the boysenberry and start over. You're a stronger woman than me!

                            The bologna sandwich wasn't mine.

I would have preferred mayonnaise on my peanut butter and jelly.

I like pork and jelly concoctions.

I need to make a nice dipping sauce for these...

CCinNJ, I am very intrigued by those. I've never seen them in a store, but I bet I could make some myself! I love artichokes and bacon, so I really don't see a down side.

Tonight I made chicken thighs in garlic-soy-butter sauce, with steamed sweet peas and French-style green beans.

If I can ever get myself out of this chair, I've got to put together a bacon-cheddar-asparagus strata for tomorrow's dinner.

                                            It's really a focaccia...but it's pizza during an emergency.

Felix, would you come over and cook for us.  I'm too lazy tonight.

Oh!  It might be an oatmeal evening.

Gladly, mar! I'm betting you don't have 16-ish inches of snow and it's warmer than 20 degrees. Now I'm having oatmeal for my late night snack.

Your dinners sound great. i love reading this thread every day. I'm most times embarrassed to post my dinners. I can cook something big like gumbo, chilli, BBQ  and eat leftovers three days in a row or more for dinner with different things at lunch depending on how many hours I put in at work. A lot of people i know wont eat leftovers even one day so they think I'm odd. My kids want something new every night so I try for them.
