Solly's owner dies

Sylvia Salmon died recently at the age of 87. Solly's, which opened in 1936 by Kenneth "Solly" Salmon, who was a big band leader. Solly's is run by Sylvia's son. www.jsonline.com/news/obituaries

That is sad to hear. That is one place I had not made it to, and was on my "bucket" list of places to eat. CTD - I think the butter coated her arteries and it did lead to her long life LONG LIVE THE BUTTER BURGER

I have only been to Solly's once and I got the jcheeseburger and it was swimming in butter. In fact there was so much butter that the bun came apart but it was very very tasty. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

I think that Sollys is on the Milwaukee/Chicago tour is an excellent testimony.
