The historic Miss Albany Diner (Albany, New York) was used as a set for the 1987 movie Ironweed starring Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. BTW, the late owner Cliff Brown was one of the finest "dinerman" you would ever meet.

The Pizza place in the first scene of Spiderman 2, that Peter Parker is delivering for; is the old location of Joe's on Carmine in the Village.
They have since moved up the block.
