Meatloaf Sandwich

We went to ,"The Brick", down on 17th & McGee in Kansas City after seeing this joint on "Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives". Their house specialty is a meatloaf sandwich topped with pepperjack cheese, homemade chipolte ketchup, and grilled wheatberry bread. Guy Fieri hit it right on the head with this one. Just wonderful !

Eggs, onions, marinara sauce, rye bread, worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, pepper, ground chuck. Most of these ingredients have a supporting role for the ground chuck. The rye bread is an interesting ingredient. Tastes great !

Cold meatloaf on regular white bread with a squirt of ketchup, sublime. Sometimes I'll put potato chips right on the sandwich.

I like to sizzle a couple of slices of meatloaf in a skillet to brown and top them with a slice of cheese after flipping. I usually put the meatloaf on some white bread with a little mayonnaise.

Left over meat loaf sandwich is my favorite!! butter the bread with some ketchup and mustard.

Cold meatloaf on soft white bread - - mayo on both slices of bread and a sprinkle of salt....
My ex used to put leftover scalloped potatoes on his sandwich, too... And a dash of Heinz ketchup!!!!

Justifiable grounds for making him your "EX"!!!  A cold meatloaf sandwich on any kind of bread requires Spicy Brown or Coarse Ground Mustard.

I don't know if it's still there but years ago when I worked in Milwaukee I used to eat the best cold meatloaf sandiches at a place called Karlovich's.

I love eating a cold meatloaf sandwich the day after I make it.
Sometimes, I think my real reason for making meatloaf is just to enjoy it cold in a sandwich the next day.
