I hope to get to Cortina's Italian Market in Anaheim today for an Italian Hoagie ( Grinder) with Genoa salami, Gabbagool, Provolone cheese on crusty bread, with all kinds of peppers, onions, lettuce tomatoes and Italian olive oil and red wine vinegar salt and pepper........I just looked at the menu and they also have Italian sausage and peppers Hoagies, Meatball and mozzarella Hoagies and Eggplant Parmesan hoagies....Proscuitto Di Parma sandwich with fresh Mozzarella, basil, tomato and EVOO...........I want all of these, and have to pick one.....How the Hell does a person pick one.............. I'll post some pictures of the final picks later today...............It's Spaghetti day there so my little girl will be fine.....

Tony, I could use a young Turk like Joerogo, a guy that knows how to carry a piece in case they are out of Gabbagool. I don't want no trouble for the family, Capeesh......

When I go to an Italian Market, I would like to see a Italian behind the meat counter. I was looking over the cold meats, I asked the counter kid to tell me how to pronounce the word for the italian cold cut. He told me, I'm not going to say it right, but I think it's called "Capicolla" I told him the story about Gabbagool, with him being a nice kid, he humored me. I remember the day, that if I ever called it Capicolla The italian deli owner would give me a dirty look and say, It's Gabbagool, not Capicolla. Times have changed, Those days are gone................The restaurant and market are separate, I had the Italian sausage and pepper hoagie, Mollie had the Spaghetti with Marinara sauce and garlic bread, and My wife had the Antipasto salad. The food was good, But I miss getting yelled at. I'll be in NYC this summer, I know I can get yelled at there..........pnwc
