I know...I know...I KNOW!! Stop laughing. I just think since we already have some things picked out, we should just start planning the next tour. CSD is right. We DO go to Chicago all the time. I find nothing wrong with this. Personally I love Chicago and would move there if I won the lottery and would weigh 800 pounds from all the good food they have there. We have good food here, too. And what's more, WE MAKE BEERS HERE!!! Yes, you can't smell it driving on the M-Change anymore, but those memories from being a kid driving through Milwaukee are memories they can't take away from me, no matter how beautiful Marquette's new law school is. (same nabe) The hardest part is picking a date. We are a busy Contingent, trying to find a date that accommodates all of us will be difficult, but I'm willing to try. Please pick out the dates that work for you. If it turns out to be as mild a winter as they are saying, we could add March dates as well. (Easter is March 31, Passover falls on the same weekend, and I took Mother's Day out of the running.) http://doodle.com/i83z4mhd2ddbp6x8 ann_peeples: Do you just want to do a walking tour of Brady Street? Or do you want to do that in addition to some other places you have picked out? Take your time, you have literally *months* to decide. The other half of the tour has been planned for you: GREEN RIVER um, LUNCH, in Glendale. 6969 N Port Washington Rd Glendale, WI 53217 Then: Lakefront Brewery Tour 1872 N Commerce Street Milwaukee, WI 53212 Cost for the Brewery Tour is $7 and includes: a Souvenir Pint Glass, & four 6oz pours of beer. Tours that start before 4pm also include a coupon for 1 free beer, before 6pm, at any of these locations: Bar Louie, Brocach, Champion's Pub, G-Daddy's BBC, The Garage/Balzac, Hosed on Brady, Hybrid Lounge, Karma Bar & Grill, Milwaukee Brat House, Motor @ Harley Davidson, Nomad, Stubby's, The Tracks, Wicked Hop, & Wolski's Tavern. Of these ^^ choices, I would choose The Wicked Hop. 345 N Broadway Milwaukee, WI 53202 Karma Bar & Grill--6 kinds of mac & cheese!!!! 600 E Ogden Ave Milwaukee, WI 53202 Milwaukee Brat House--they have something called BRAT HOUSE SAUSAGE SAMPLER LOLOL 1013 N Old World 3rd St Milwaukee, WI 53203 other choices are as follows: Bar Louie 1114 N Water St Milwaukee, WI 53202 Brocach 1850 N Water St Milwaukee, WI 53202 Champion's Pub 2417 N Bartlett Ave Milwaukee, WI 53211 G-Daddy's Bradford Beach Club 2022 E North Ave Milwaukee, WI 53202 The Garage/Balzac North Arlington Place Milwaukee, WI 53202 1716 N Arlington Pl Milwaukee, WI 53202 Hosed on Brady 1689 N Franklin Pl Milwaukee, WI 53202 Hybrid Lounge--not sure if they have food 707 E Brady St Milwaukee, WI 53202 We are not going to the Harley Davidson Museum. But did you see their slogan?? King of the Road Food Possible copyright infringement? Or does the space between Road and Food save them?
