chicagostyledog In 2006, seven years ago, we took the Cheesehead in Beer Town Tour in Milwaukee. Too many places, too much food, too much driving, too long a day. Let's sit, eat, and schmooze, instead of the traditional eat and run and eat and run. I'm sorry you feel this way. I thought we all chipped in for a van? It worked out so much better that way. I really enjoyed myself with the exception of the grilled cheese @ Big Star that almost killed me (allergic to Velveeta). I do love Zaffiro's. They are in the movie theater around the corner from my work. Lakefront is a lock. Jake's only tastes good in my pajamas, apparently. Kopp's is a given, but they are usually the afterparty & not a requirement nor an expectation of the tour. We have a few more months to work it out. I am not worried.

stricken_detective These are just suggestions at this point, nothing is in stone. But I would like to thank you all for ignoring the most important thing I have asked thus far: Am I the only one who wants to go on a boat for the Brewery Tour? How exactly does this work? I went to Lakefront's website and didn't see any mention of a boat on the tour info page. If there were enough worthy dining options on the river or the lake we could do an entire tour by boat...

Let's sit, eat, and schmooze, instead of the traditional eat and run and eat and run. My suggestions are: 1. Zaffiro's Pizza-Opens 11 am 2. Lakefront Brewery-Opens 10am with tours every 25 minutes until 3pm 3. Jake's Deli-Closes at 7pm 4. Kopp's Pizza, Beer, Corned Beef, and Custard. The only thing missing are brats. Mike Loew, where in town can we get a good brat, besides your house? Aimee, if you desire a Green River, Dr. Dawg will have their new location in operation across the street from Kopp's by the tour. This sounds really good to me
