Nova Scotia South Shore (in and around Peggy's Cove)

We are frequent visitors to this part of the world and recommend the following places:
Finer Diner (best seafood chowder)
Shaw's for view and decent food (not the best seafood chowder)
Rhubards (new and has excellent food at a price)
Dee Dees ice cream (at Peggy's Cove, cash only)
Jane's on the Common (in Halifax and excellent dining and good prices) - closing 12/31/2012
 
On the way home on the airline route, Eagle's Nest, which has been mentioned by others but which has a terrific lobster stew at a price better than usual.

I can't help but wonder why, since they have had lease issues since summer 2011 they didn't just move. Not easy, but given their popularity, certainly doable.
