So much leftover candy that I wish I had shoved a fistful into every bag that came to my door.

We had a little girl come and when asked what she was dressed as, she said "the bride of Captain Hook". What???? We had all of 6 kids come to the door.

What was odd was that we didn't have one trick or treater. Guess we'll have to eat the candy.

It's not the grouch, it's the woods. Years ago, when there were lots of kids in the area, even the grouch and the creepy woods didn't keep the little monsters away. The pit in front of the house with the rattlesnakes might have something to do with it. But, still, what do we do with the five or six bags of miniature Milky Ways, Nestle's Crunch bars, Kit Kats, Mounds and Three Musketeers?

I didn't get a single trick-or-treater at my place and now I'm stuck with all these damn broccoli florets and Brussels sprouts. I wonder if the squirrels around here are into veggies...

Bob............get thee a dehyrator!........get every morsel of damp outta those babies and then invest in a sling-shot!. With practice, your squirrels will bother you no more! And my standing offer of $20 to any kid that attempts my driveway on Halloween still stands....10 years in NH and 20 years here in PA..although this year, they may have been dissuaded by the live wire that was down on the property after "sandy" performed her holiday trick! Happily munching on Kit-Kats, Hershey Bars, Mounds, Etc

A friend in Buffalo had a teenage, smoking trick or treater sans costume attempting to get candy from her. Her response to him... REALLY? He got nothing.

I had an extra large golf cart, decked out in Halloween decorations pull in front of the house with about a dozen kids on board. The best part.....my dentist was driving!

Your's are the BACON, I hope ! Zero body count here, again. Did see rural kids loading into neighbors van for the ride to town, like Quantrill's Raiders ! Lot's of sugar-high yelling and noises when they came home later.

I had 20 kids come in a little over an hour. The house across the street just to the left was giving out candy, but none of the other houses across the street turned on their porch lights, which is probably why the number was low. (I live on a street just 2 blocks long.) It also was a little on the chilly side. I gave out "body parts" candy, so I would have loved to be able to hear the conversations when they got home.

I never get any, probably the "Keep Out" doormat with the skull and crossbones on it. Years back when I worked at a a drug store, I'd get adults coming in with their kids, and after giving candy to the kids, about half the time the adults would ask for money or merchandise, and half of them would get irate when I told them no. "Come on, I got kids and s---". Really?

I live in a secured condo located on Greenwich Bay. Most of the people that live here are older(over 65) , I haven't had one trick or treater, however if the seniors are willing to dress up, I'd be willing to hand out senior citizen fun packs which would include geritol, ben gay, orthopedic shoes and prune juice!

We had the aforementioned van loads from another neighborhood, someone on a cell phone, teenagers with no costume but carrying a pillowcase. Luckily we also had some really cute little kids, who got all the candy. When one very pregnant woman held out a bag and said it was for her baby in the truck. He was too little to trick or treat. I told her that if he couldn't walk up the sidewalk, he shouldn't eat candy. (Grinch? that's me)
