But damn that was good ... and 20 years ago I could easily eat all of it!

At one of the "Original House of Pancakes" in Dallas, I usually have one (soft) poached egg over corned beef hash with wheat toast and sometimes, if I'm really hungry, I add an order of hashbrowns. They don't know from home fries in Dallas. But, their "French roast" coffee is great! Filling, but not terribly hi calorie!

Where do you get 11 grams of fiber from?

Yep a few years ago I could easily handle that and probably have a large glass of milk to boot. Then about 3 hours later be ready for lunch.

Cool - an entire day's calories & fat in just one meal. What a time saver.

The fiber comes from the inadvertent consumption of the napkin.

If you don't mind I'll take four eggs instead of just two, and I'll skip the flapjacks and have either some biscuits or toast. That way it's just about right for me. Oh, and a few cups of coffee.

As i take care of blood sugar issues, pancakes become a treat i must carefully decide when to eat, hash browns a luxury I most often have to forego.

10 years ago I could eat that, with a few cups of light sweet coffee. Now? No way. I'd be lucky to eat the entire steak, let alone everything else.

I was trying to track down the 11 grams of fiber and came across this site. Check out the sodium!

I'm supposed to be on 1,200 mg. of sodium a day-at the most!

Still don't see where the 11 grams of fiber comes from. This could be the gastranomic equivalent of the "Hair of the Dog" at Man Bites Dog which consists of a 1/2 lb dog wrapped in bacon then deep fried, covered with chili, cheese and a fried egg on top then drizzled with tabasco sauce. I had one and was uncomfotable for days.
