Heading to Scott's in Hemingway, SC! Fri, 11/23/12 7:43 PM (permalink)
Leaving for Myrtle Beach next Friday and planning on driving over to Scott's for dinner or late lunch on Saturday. It's about a 50 mile drive. Anybody been before? Also looking forward to going to Capt. John's Seafood Grill in Pawley's Island on Friday. I'm literally calling them from the airport to see if they have whole bellies. Supposedly they get them on Thursday from MA and sell out in two days! Reviews to follow.

Check my blog for my report from a few weeks ago; it's part 4 of "Circumnavigating South Carolina"... Scott's completely lived up to the hype.  I've been telling people it's either better than I remember Old Clinton in Gray, or at worst, equally as magnificent.

Fortunately, I'll be back by Old Clinton in early January to check which one I really do like best.  Might require another trip to Scott's a couple of weeks after that to settle it.
