A very good lunch at Sushi Express, Watertown, NY
Sat, 12/8/12 7:37 PM
After reading a review of Sushi Express we decided to try it on our next shopping trip to Ft. Drum. SE is on Rt 11, a half mile south of the main gate. We were invited to sit anywhere, supplied with menus and told by the Japanese counter-man to order at the counter when ready. We went beyond the recommendations of the reviewer and ordered miso and sea weed salad, California roll, Ft. Drum roll, Spicy Center roll and Volcano roll and two Japanese mango soft drinks. I am not going to try to detail the contents of each but will say that they were all very good and very satisfying. Service was quick and there was a steady stream of people picking up orders to go. If you are in the area, it's definitely worth a stop. It's not McDonald's cheap but worth the price and we will return. You could read the reviewer's report at watertowndailytimes.com and look for Food For Thought.
