I am wondering which mixed grill you think is better, DeLuca's or the Gab 'N Eat?

It was for good reason that Gab N Eat was my number one breakfast in 2011, therefore I did prefer the mixed grill at there over the one at  Deluca's
 
Oh, and by the way, this is for you....
 

Look closely, "The Bat" is saying that you should have gone to Prince's instead of Bolton's!

Yeah, I would agree with you on Gab 'N Eat being better.

We were sitting in Mothers last month when the cooks wheeled out this cart carrying 8 Whole Hams.....then a minute later they rolled out another cart of 8 Hams headed to the serving line.
Pretty impressive considering all the beef they use and this was Saturday,
Fried Chicken Day at Mothers.

wanderingjew, Breakfast at Mother's is a NOLA must for me.  The Biscuits are second to none.  Great year end review!

No matter what you choose for breakfast, the "Ham Biscuit"
compliments everything.

Thats because all of my extended trips in 2012 took place in either the south or the southwest. If you look at my best of lists for 2010 and 2011 they were heavily midwestern and in 2010 it was heavily west coast and interior west.

Each year there is someone who just stands out a little more than the rest...And from my first Roadfood trip of the year, I just knew this particular proud restaurant owner in Memphis TN just had that extra special dedication that really adds to the experience...
