An old friend died.

Sorry for being cryptic. A poster who was banished from the site many years ago, not I-95, passed away yesterday. He had been gone from these boards for some time, so most would have no clue who he was. That picture, which I believe i-95 first posted, became his signature. I will miss him.

We fought like cats and dogs when he was posting, but he was a good man, with a wonderful sense of humor. His passing is a loss we shall recall for some time.

I am so sorry, Tony. Lisa filled me in. I never knew him, but am sorrowful for you and all.

I always enjoyed his posts though he could get a little overboard! My sympathy to his family.

I feel for his family and their loss. I said a prayer for him at temple this morning.
 

I just read his obituary. Although I never got along with him, I feel bad for his family.

I would love to see his obit. I feel so bad for his family that he is being kept as mystery man here. He deserves some honor.

Does anyone else remember the hubbub when they switched the forum software from that version to the current one? Holy crap. You'd have thought that the Mayans had something to do with it.
 
Maybe that's where all the people CajunKing mentioned in the other thread went? They could never adapt to the new forum software. Holy cow....problem solved. Thank you, WayBack Machine!

I remember the hubbub.......there was nearly a Roadfood Revolt!
And yes, thank you WayBack Machine.  His posts made me laugh and helped to get through dark, cold, snowy Alaskan winters.
