This about your vent hood. How much did the sheet metal shop charge you for fabrication, does it meet the codes, and what guage stainless is it. Nice Job your doing.

they charged $535.00 I think its 16 gauge. I copied it from 1 I found on the web.. If I had it to do over I would would order it complete less the roof fan.

Hi guy s Im new here , curious about the side mount fans ,where did you get those and the vent covers ? Im going to start building a 2000 Utilitymaster step van and help would be great Thanks

I got them from a local A/C supply company. Mine are Fantech 10" fans. Google that, they are about $100.00 each. I built the trim on the outside to keep the air from trying to open them going down the road and hopefully keep the rain out..

Thanks whats the cfm those will move I calculated my total BTUs and with what Im going to put in the truck Im at 279000 so by what Im reading on the net I would need 2800 CFM worth of fans , are they going to turn on together or do you have them on two switches

I've been debating what to seal my concession window with. One of the engineers at my work recommended putting Butyl tape around the opening on the truck then install the window.

Well after completeing the truck and my wife being unemployed for 16 month, she got a good job. I stuck it up on Craigslist and sold it. I've got some local truck owners who have seen it now wanting me to build their next trucks. We'll see how many of them come up with a deposit to get them started and back to working nights and weekends to make some extra cash. The great thing to come out of this is I will pay off my house with the proceeds from the truck, 8 years early...
