Yes, it sounds good. And your "pulled pork 'burger' " sounded fantastic!

Michael Hoffman On fries? Not for me, thank you. Try imagining it with a lot of pepper! Or, better yet, imagine it smothering a mound of those fantastic Five Guys fries!

Pepper won't do it. I just don't like gravy on fries. I don't really care that much for fries in the first place, but I really dislike them with any sort of gravty. I love sausage gravy on biscuits, though.

I don't like soggy fries, but a burger patty covered in gravy peaks my interest. So... how do you flavor your sausage gravy other than with sausage?

Doesn't appeal. Love gravy and biscuits though and also love cream gravy on CFS, CFC and pork chops. I'm not much of a FF fan in general.

Nix on the fries.i prefer mine naked with salt and maybe a bilt of malt vinegar.......sometimes for a change of pace, garlic mayo. Never Ketchup, cheese, Old Bay, or any other concoction. But Sausage Gravy!..Bring it on! I love it...just not on fries

I love gravy on fries...but I can't imagine sausage gravy. I'm more of a beef or mushroom gravy girl when it comes to fries (the clear kinds, not the milk-based kinds, in other words). But sausage gravy over biscuits, pork chops, a burger patty, bread...all of that makes my mouth water!

Here's a pic of some fresh cut French fries and gravy from Grub's Drive In in Rock Springs, WY. Here's a link to the restaurant: http://www.grubsdrivein.com/

If it was in a dipping bowl next to the fries, I'd give it a whirl. Don't like eating French Fries with a fork.

Made myself a burger today, no cheese, just meat toasted roll AND sausage gravy, it was awsome, really, and messy, really. Had a customer get a pulled pork sandwich with the gravy, they went bonkers over it, said they are now spoiled, no more BBQ sauce on their pulled pork sandwiches, sausage gravy, since they wern't from around here I told them, good luck on that!

A nice peppery sausage gravy on homemade fries? Yes, please. Maybe a sprinkle of green Tabasco on top also.

Gravy and fries can be good, but the sogginess gets me. Put the gravy on the side.

I just cant see it-but would try it-if sausage gravy was served on the side...I am not a big french fry person, thus my thoughts.

If I'm having fries in a diner around here, I'm getting a bowl of gravy to dip them in. I prefer chicken gravy, but beef will do also. In the 50's and 60's, my mother would go to the diner downtown and get fries and gravy... the diner is still there, and I'll get the same thing when I go there.

The local DQ/Brazier in Batesville has a combo meal with the chicken strips that includes a bowl of sausage gravy for dipping the chicken strips into, but dipping the fries is a good thing too!
