Like many of you above, I too bake my bacon on a cookie rack over a sheet pan in the oven with great results!
I also line the sheet pan with aluminum foil for easier clean-up.

I usually use our Jetstream oven or the George Forman.

I went to Jungle Jim's, Cincinnati's huge international store, and saw they were selling beef bacon by a local company that I think does some pretty good meat.
It was $7 for 12 ounces, which is obviously high, but I thought I'd try some anyway.
I fried it, and it wasn't bad, but it was a little stringy and certainly wasn't worth the high price.
Have any of you ever prepared beef bacon, and if so how would you suggest cooking it?

If you don't like deep fried bacon then you will have to stay away from the best BLT in the land for Crown Candy Kitchen in Saint Louis does theirs in a deep fryer.

They use a pile of Bacon on that sandwich.
