Huntsville Al with side trips

I don't know why I cant get the search function to find it, or maybe it is a food desert.  Going to be in Huntsville Alabama for a while, and looking for suggestions.  Side trips to include Chattanooga and Nashville.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I will be there about 12 weeks, and thats a long time to do without roadfooding.............

As for my own limited experiences in the region, I thought Little Paul's Barbecue was pretty good, and Mary's in nearby Gurley was amazing, and the decrepit and aging Gibson's was a big disappointment.

The first thing I'll do is suggest a trip to Duffy's Deli. They're gonna be closing soon (not sure when, maybe as long as 2 years from now) and you really need to try the White Chili before they do. It's spectacular. Here's my take on it on another thread. One that may be of particular interest to you.

Though I think my favourite ribs are at Dreamland in HSV the best BBQ in the area can be had at Chuckwagon Diner in Fayetteville. There's also a Chuckwagon in Madison which is also supposed to be excellent. I've yet to make it.
 
The best Meat n 3 can be found at Stan's in Columbia, Tn.
 
Fried chicken in Chatt. is at Champy's.
 
Best Pizza is Big Ed's in HSV.
