Pull Pork with a KitchenAid Stand Mixer

Sorry I bothered.  I guess this website is full of the close-minded that know everything. Won't waste anymore of my time here. There are other websites that are more welcoming.  

That means I would have to clean the mixer bowl, the paddle, the knife for cutting it into cubes (mine won't cut, it falls apart) plus the cutting board.  Too time consuming.  All I need is a fork.  Easy peasy.

Sounds like overkill to me.

I've heard (read?) of using a dough hook to pull pork.

I'm with lleechef. Besides, if you can't use a fork or two to pull it apart, you've done it wrong.
 
Antilope...attitude is everything. That works both ways. Besides, your post sounded an awful lot like a commercial, as do a couple of your other posts. I understand trying, but I was quite honestly debating marking a couple as spam because they struck me as such, sorry.

The KitchenAid method may not be for you but I honestly can't see any connection to named-brand tomato sauce some Panda Express recipes a solution for a thermometer case or the KitchenAid as anything that would or could be Spam.

It just seems totally unnecessary. 

Maybe...but I doubt Spam and most likely a helpful attempt from a new member just wanting to suggest something that they saw elsewhere.

I just called it as I saw it...more than one post featuring a kitchen appliance by brand name seemed a little hinky to me. I did not report it as such because I thought I could be wrong.

The tips that were listed are found on several other forums by members of the community.

I hope Antilope comes back. Some may be different things we don't normally see here...but no crime in that.

Well, forgive me for not seeing them on "several other forums" or by any other members. I saw them here, by one member, in quick succession.

Nothing to forgive. I am just explaining so it does not turn into a situation where a new member leaves and does not come back...while others come to the same conclusion.

Great.  Now I need a drill to pull pork.

DeWalt is a great drill!

I got something called Bear Claws, not the tasty treats but these big claw things. They work OK, but not really easier than a couple big forks.
 
My problem with Antilope's method is that I'd have to go out and buy a KitchenAid. Don't wanna do that, nossir.

I can't see how a KitchenAid would help at all.....
