Dbl Cut Pork Chops

Nothing is easy around here, if you want pork chop, you have to cut them. I had a section of a side of pork that we just processed. Be Back later after I grill these .................

Oh Yeah.a nice apple brine.....maybe with a lil garlic added. Then grilled and or baked and topped with some long sauteed apples and onions in a bit of Marsala at the end

I have had chops that have been grilled with a pineapple brine which have been very tasty. No sauces, just a nice grill for me.

I'm not sure what happen to the other pictures that I posted but here are the results........... ok, I forgot to check the propane, yep, it was empty.......so I roasted them in a 350 oven for about 45 minutes. I got a nice crust on the fat side, with a dusting of fine crushed Montreal seasoning. I roasted them bone side down to 140 degrees inside temp  ......

Beautiful! Last time I had a good double cut pork chop was in Iowa. I just hope that section of side of pork that you processed didn't come from Little Porkchop!!!!

lleechef, little pork chop is doing fine, this is a picture of him get ready for a Mexican Fiesta............The ig that we processed were about 250 to 275 lbs..........

lleechef I'm glad Little Porkchop is fine. Looks like he could kick up a real mean Mexican Hat Dance!! I'm sure we will see pictures of little pork chop posing next to the grill next year!
