CajunKing Poverty Pete This is your thread, ICM. CC hasn't even made a comment here. What is your issue with her? No issue with her, but in Corpus Christie the weather has sucked the last few days. I'd like to see Texas but every time I'm close it's raining. No sense trading snow for rain even if it is warm. I was even following the Glee Club.

Sorry! I just got back home. Yes it does seem to rain a lot this time of year around Corpus Christie (its about 8 hours south, southwest of me) but that can be hit or miss also, sometimes it can be dry--Texas weather. There are good things to do there. We have been to the beach, the battleship, botanical gardens and conservation area. They are all nice and there are many things to do within driving distance. Lots of GREAT BBQ places within driving distance. If you like birdwatching I have a friend that goes a few times a year.

Well it's time to leave sunny Cocoa, back to Macon for one night then on to Nashville for two or 3 nights. I think we'll do the downtown again and the Opry Friday night. I wish I could drink more, Nashville is a great place to bar hop if you like good music by the yet to be famous. Lots of good food in Cocoa.

Sounds like a nice long time doing fun things and being away from the cold. Safe travels, ICM.

While your at the Opry you are close to EASTSIDE FISH - you should stop in and have some HOT Fish before heading back to the frozen tundra. :-) Briley Pkwy to Gallatin Pk (turn left) then it is down a little bit across from a FAT MO's it is hidden in the back of an odd lot so you might pass it if not looking for it.

We snuck though the tornadoes coming out of Florida if we can find a hole in the snow storms we'll be good. I just discovered I drove all over Florida for 7 days with out a licence. Seems since January 1st us Canadians need an international licence for the sunshine state.

Had fish downtown at Crabby Joe's today good stuff. Stopped in several bars for beer and live music, some very good singers, you can stand at the door and listen for a while if you like what you hear it's time for beer. Toured the Ryman, really good tour. I didn't realize how clean the place was until I went into the washrooms, everything was polished to a shine. A really beautiful historic place.

Yes the Ryman is impressive, and just think of all the famous singers who have stood on that stage and performed. It gave me goosebumps to think about it. I love Broadway and the Honkey Tonks, the music is always good and if you don't like it, like you said go down a few doors and the music changes. Have a safe one back to Ontario.

Went to the Opry again last night, they never disappoint. Today we head for Dayton just a one night stand on the way to Erin.

So far so good, Dayton. Checked in at the hotel and was given a room. The room had a full fridge, snacks and some Valentine gifts so back down to the front desk, next room actually had people, good thing they weren't up to anything as I walked in. Third room was good. Starting to sound like the 3 bears story.

Thank you America, we were treated well in Cleveland, Dayton, Nashville, Macon, Clearwater, Cocoa and many stops in between. Sometimes you were hard to understand but always gracious.
