Serving side of food truck

As I got I different events involving food trucks...I see that all the serving windows are on the side opposite the driver side. Is there a reason for this?

So you can park on the street and serve to the sidewalk.

Thats kind of like asking why mail trucks drivers seats are on the right instead of the left. Nothing personal. People get bashed all the time in this forum for asking simple questions and not trying to find answers on their own. "The side opposite the drivers side".....also referred to as the right hand side here in the states or sometimes it's even called "the passenger side".

I would add that if you are building a truck that you also take a look around your area and what your potential parking is like. Here we have quite a few one way streets around the park strip with the parking all being on the driver side instead of the passenger side. So while my primary serving side will be two windows on the passenger side, I also installed one on the drivers side.

Im from south florida, and there are no one way streets worth serving on. Thats why i moved to Cordova Alaska- and it was too cold, so i moved to Boise - now im putting a window on my passenger side, and im one more post to be able to post pictures

Haha, definitely too cold in Alaska during the winter, but the long summer days make up for it. Hoping we eventually move out of here, but hubby is not convinced. Isn't it either 30 or 50 posts for pictures?

Noodles, Don't move!!!!! You live in one of the most beautiful places in the US! I would move back in an instant if I could. Looking forward to seeing your truck.
