Munising, MI could never be considered a Roadfood destination town. But they do sport a hotdog joint that could be among the nation's best, IMHO.
Just two blocks from Munising Bay--a cut out on Lake Superior, is Johnny Dogs. Features a compact menu of some of the most well-thought out weiners in North America. We've tried three or four of the offerings, and they are all worthy of numerous reorders.
Because Lake Superior Whitefish is ubiquiteous to Michigan's UP, Johnny Dogs also offers a very tasty Whitefish Taco. "Swimming in the lake in the morning; on your plate at noon."
