I know its early--but when i nMay and any idea where--i will be back in Mass for most of the month--my birthday on the 10th and daughters wedding the weekend of the 18th on Martha' Vinyard--would LOVE to meet up with you all--will be flying in on the 1st and leaving the 22nd and will be staying with family in Millis and Medfield

I agree with WJ, why don't you suggest places since you're only here for this month.  I'm so excited to have a new face join us!  I live and work very close to Millis and Medfield so if transportation is an issue, I might be able to assist.  Looking forward to meeting you!

Tiki I believe is one of the original members of the Tennessee Glee Club. If he wasn't the original then he was apart of the 2nd annual glee club event...
 
I had the opportunity to meet up with Tiki in Oklahoma during my heartlanding through the breadbasket trip back in the Summer of 2010. Here is a photo of us together.

i remember that pic--that was during the bluesfest that we do every yr--i still have my wristband on--think i slept about 2 hrs that night before we met for breakfast at the Shawnee Restaraunt!

- A Quebecois Bakery.....They have  Whole or "by the slice" French Canadian Meat Pies

I checked and they're only open till 6pm...
 
2nd Stop

They have the local special here- The Dynamite. Unique to Northern Rhode Island, to me it tastes like American Chop Suey Meat Sauce in a Grinder Roll.....add some red pepper flakes and the sandwich really comes alive!

For those who were hoping for Ice Cream, unfortunately most ice cream stands in RI are seasonal and are still closed or have very irregular hours in Mid March......

On an aside, Sandra is taking me to a Polish Restaurant in Montville CT  for lunch tomorrow. It's called Smakosh. Apparently it's only open for Breakfast and Lunch

Props to Sandra!  Will you be doing any gambling while you are in the area??!!  The money kind . . . not the stomach kind.  Enjoy!

Dale, I have another friend, Joelle, who is working until 7pm in Franklin but will meet us at the Bocce Club (since I figure we'll be there around that time).  And our friend Yvel with also be with us, so that's 4 Ayersians for the Bocce Club reservation!  Thanks!

I just called the Bocce Club and confirmed that reservations won't be needed...

Sandra and I will be leaving my office at 5pm. It should take a half hour or a little longer in rush hour traffic to get to C'est Bon- so it looks like we'll get there first.

I just spoke with Caitlin at C'est Bon to let them know that some of us may arrive a little after 6pm
She'll make sure that they're well stocked...

It looks like my daughter Kimberly will be joining us at Bocce Club and maybe C'est Bon.

Heather and I are starting the adventure at the BEEF BARN, about 10 minutes from our first stop, in North Smithfield, RI.  We plan to arrive there by 5:00 and make it to the Bakery before 6:00.   Feel free to join us!!!

There were 10 of us... despite the pouring rain, a great time was had by all..

C'est Bon was a wonderful surprise....Superb meat pies, spinach puffs and I had a bite of their cinammon roll....I regret not trying the pea soup. But we plan to return.
 
Last time I walked into Bocce Club was nearly 13 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. The Family Style Chicken Dinner was just as good, I still prefer it over Wright's Farms but on the other hand, Kimberly, Paulde's daughter prefers Wrights Farms.
The only difference was (and my memory might be playing tricks on me) is that I remembered meat in the antipasto  salad when I last visited.
