Haag's Hotel in Shartlesville, PA, famous for its family-style Pa. Dutch feasts, is under new management. They will still offer old fare but are expanding the menu to appeal to other tastes as well. There's an article on the Reading Eagle newspaper website about it published this past week. I can't link to it but it's easy to find via Google.

    I actually have a day trip planned for next month to there and a couple of other old taverns/restaurants in that area (along with the obligatory stops at Cabela's and the Allentown Farmers Market). Hope the new management doesn't change it too much. Based on that article it appears to be in good hands, but you never know.

      Glad it was useful info. Has anyone been to Adams & Bright Drugstore in Hamburg since they reopened the soda fountain there? Might be worth a stop as well for those in the area.
