wall behind exhaust hood Thu, 03/28/13 8:35 PM (permalink)
finished installing window along with the putting up all the plywood getting ready to install frp and stainless but my question is I obviously need metal behind my cooking equip but can I leave it just plywood between the hood and wall so It would save me a little bit of money or does the whole wall need to be covered with metal?

I would put metal all the way up.even if it's not required.the hood area is where a fire is going to start and wood is going to burn.

I know this thread is a year old but how far should the SS wrap around my cooking area?
