That's good Fried Clam!  They were a pair and I thought they got people to go see movies with their reviewing style.

He has long been my favorite movie reviewer.  Great writer and from what I have heard, a really good person, too.

When I was a journalism student at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, I remember that I had to go to the Chicago Sun-Times newsroom for some reason or other, and I saw Roger Ebert there, in his distinctive trench coat.  I got to speak to him for a minute, and he couldn't have been nicer.

A wonderful collection of quotes from his reviews: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/04/04/roger-ebert-s-10-best-reviews-and-10-best-zingers.html

Roger Ebert was what Pauline Kael pretended to be: Simply the best movie reviewer ever.

What I really liked about Siskel and Ebert was that it was apparent that they really liked movies! I didn't always agree with them but felt they were a great team.

Always enjoyed Siskel and Ebert both were honest and passionate in their reviews.

Kinda feel that it's a good thing they're both taking in a Heavenly Matinee with all the special effects TRASH that's coming out of Follywood and anyone elses computer.

Ebert was a good writer and a perceptive critic. I always enjoyed reading reading him I will miss reading  him.
