So I'm done, we passed inspection, and now we are ready to sell sell sell!
Just a piece of advice to anybody trying to do their own work, READ thru all the build posts here and never assume that whatever someone did will fit your project, there are many things that now that I think about it I could've done different/better, but the excitement and need to have the truck running and making money, took the best of me.
I sifted thru all of the build posts and picked and chose from every single one of them based on my needs and local health department codes.
Again build to your needs, I think we can agree that reese's, daddywoofdog and kingofcreams builds are the tits but you'll never see 2 of the same builds.
anyways I thank you ALL for pouring all of your knowledge so we can all benefit from it.
Also the Dr. for sharing a lot of industry knowledge and common sense
anyways here are the pics and I'll try to answer any questions people may have.
Still gotta do some graphics but that can wait

Very cool truck build.  Thanks for sharing.  More pictures now that you are up and running would be cool too.

I had all the effort to slowly scroll down to see the makeover you did in this van. Good job! I just wonder how much it cost you for all the renovations you did. I know you got it cheap but with all the renovations you did, that would have cost you more than a brand new van. Well, more than anything else, congrats on this one and hope to see your Blue Hawaii one of these days.

SCTC - Good job on your build, the van looks great.  It is always fun to see someone's dream come to fruition.  I hope you have great success in your operation.

PS:  Don't forget to add the photos of the van up and running.

Thanks for the compliments, I did it on the cheap and did all the work myself, but I keep on improving on the build as I get more "extra" money.
Also I have it setup exactly the way I want it and with room for expansion and menu changes.
Since we are the only Authentic Mexican in town we have been getting a lot of requests for catering and special events, will remember to pack my camera next time we go out so I can get some pics of the truck at full steam!
              Thanks guys!!!

Good thread and thanks for the mention. Where did you get you exhaust hood? I like it a lot.

Great build. I have recently started my own build. I am surprised you have your propane tanks inside the truck. I ordered a thirty # frame mount and will place mine underneath. This is only my second post so I'm a ways from photos. I am trying to follow all the good truck build threads.

Dr. I "custom" made that hood it was actually a full hood that I cut down to fit, i found it "laying on the side of the road" next to a restaurant that was being demolished, but I had to clean it really good because it looked like it had been abused by the PO.

Gonzo- I wanted to go  with a horizontal tank under the truck but they're hard to come by here in Hawaii we need to ship everything from the mainland and that itself is sometimes more expensive than the actual item.

I'll try to make time to take pics of when we are full steam, also the griddle is being replaced by a commercial heavy duty one that I will need to wrangle into the van, I got a heavy duty Wells griddle for almost nothing due to a restaurant supplier changing locations.
