We will work a concession stand this fall at a soccer park. And we need to cook brats. Not sure spam will work. But I cant find em any cheaper then $1.. I know there has to be some out there.

Currently the stand buys their brats from Sisco .Johnsonville for about a buck a piece. I priced sams they are just a bit more. I was hoping to get brats for 75cents or lower. The brand doesnt matter to me. Didnt know if any of you guys buy brats cheaper then that?

Are you looking for Brats that you cook or pre-cooked. I like Hillshires brand.
Normally about .60 a piece, on sale sometimes and readily available.

I get Johnsonville pre-cooked, can't do anything not pre-cooked here. Better Cheddar, Smoked and Jalapeno, all cost $2.98 for a 6-pack. I get them from "City Market" in Western Colorado that is owned by "Kroger."

CKC, it looks like Sysco is charging you to much. I would look at a local place to buy them or cash and carry. You s/b i the .60 range for a 5-1 brat. Isn't there any local butchers that sell smoked sausage. I would think a local Sausage may get a good following. You may want to talk with some local butchers, tell them it's for the local soccer park, tell them you will give them some free advertising by letting people know where the sausage comes from.............Think local..........pnwc

How big are they? If they're 1/4 #, then that's not a bad price.
